Batch: compress many PDFs in one go
Each file is compressed one after another; you can watch the progress per file.
This PDF carries a digital signature. Compressing it rewrites the file, which invalidates that signature — keep the original if the signature matters.
Compression level
Applies to every file in the batch. Changing it clears existing results.
Compressing
ZIP is created in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
How the compression works
PDF files usually get big because of the photos and scans stored inside them. This tool finds those images, re-encodes them at a lower quality, and writes them back. Text, vectors, links and form fields are never touched — your text stays selectable and searchable, unlike tools that flatten pages into pictures.
What it cannot shrink
PDFs that are pure text, or whose images are stored as raw bitmaps, palette graphics, JPEG 2000 or black-and-white fax (CCITT/JBIG2), will barely change. When that happens the tool says so instead of pretending it worked.
Your files never leave your device. There is no upload, no account and no server-side copy — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.
Batch: queue as many PDFs as you like and download them all at once as a ZIP. No sign-up, no daily limit.
